Yesterday we held our Winter Open House at The Christmas Crab Quiltery. Shelley, Margie, Ellen and I were so.....happy to see you all. What a great turnout! Snowstorm and all! Margie had new samples to inspire everyone. Her new Woven Bag is soooooo cute. She is adding it to the curriculum. She has lots of new classes planned and many are included in the Christmas Club. The club will meet one Saturday per month to create beautiful gifts and decorations for next Christmas.
I gave a very casual demo (more of a show and tell, really) on Soft and Stable and Estelle Wilson was the lucky winner of the Doorprize, Award Winning Quilts Calendar 2012.

I gave a very casual demo (more of a show and tell, really) on Soft and Stable and Estelle Wilson was the lucky winner of the Doorprize, Award Winning Quilts Calendar 2012.
Soft and Stable, made by Superior Threads, is a lovely foam batting which is covered, top and bottom, with a sheer fabric. It is easy to work with and gives your projects ie. bags and placemats, etc. an extra umph. We have it in both white and black.
