The Christmas Club

Did you know that we have a Christmas Club here at the Christmas Crab Quiltery?

Margie Grieve has been teaching a different project each month in hopes that some of Santa's Elves will be well prepared this year!  We both thought if we learned a new pattern, starting the previous winter, then we would be able to complete at least one before Christmas.  I have encouraged the Club by offering a free fat quarter to everyone who makes a second.

Last month, Margie couldn't be here so I helped the Club make pretty covers for purchased oven mitts.

We had a great day.  Boy, was I tired!  You have to have a lot of energy to keep up with this bunch.  They are so good!!!

In August, Margie will be back.  She is going to teach the Carpenter's Wheel table cloth/Christmas Tree skirt.  Don't let those Y seams worry you.  Margie has it down pat.

Come in and register and pick up the supply list and cutting instructions soon.  You must have your fabric cut prior to the class.

Bev Ketch is in the Christmas Club and she kindly posed with her Cobblestone Lane Block of the Month Quilt we did last year.  She has hand quilted it and it is gorgeous!!!!  Here she is (with Ellen) out front.
