We have some great classes coming up!

Flip Flap Bag

Tomorrow (Wednesday) Margie is teaching the Flip Flap Bag which is a sweet little (8" by 10" by 1 1/2") cross body bag with 2 secret pockets.  If you would like to join in, just show up at 9:30 with your sewing machine and sewing kit and we will help you find your 4 fat quarters, pattern and fusible fleece.  That is all you need!

Skillbuilder Panel

On Thursday and Sunday, Jo-Anne (me) will be teaching the basics of machine quilting on the domestic sewing machine.  We will follow the Skillbuilder program developed by Renae Allen and students will receive the Skillbuilder Companion book and panel to practice various techniques of machine quilting.  If you are the one who wanted to be able to quilt your own projects but had no idea how to get started this program is for you!  We will have fun and you will be amazed at how quickly you can learn to write your name in thread.  I might push you but it will be worth it.  I promise!

Diamond Block

Next Tuesday, Barb Foster will be here to teach us the Diamond Block technique!  This quilt was made from one Jelly Roll and a little border fabric.  The JR makes the centre out to the red border.  Isn't it great that you can get so much from one little package of fabric and the choosing is so simple too!  Just pick a flavour.  Barb says that it is easy to get the quilt done in the one day class and I believe her because she has an honest face and I have heard from numerous people that she is a great teacher.

The good news:
There are still spaces left in each class.

The bad news:
You have to decide to come and call 328-6018 very soon!!!!! or you will miss out.
